 If we walk in the light, as he is in the light,

     Notice the traveler sitting on a rock that overlooks a cascading mountain stream. From the first stepping stone of Truth at the bottom of the hill, where Hope and Life span the turbulent waters, his path has led across the timeless rocks of Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-Control. Light from this Fruit of the Spirit stands in sharp contrast to the shadows of doubt, lies, hate, evil, sin, death, laziness, fear and murder on the dark undersides of the rocks.  The traveler is free to choose:  stumble back down over the rough terrain into ruin and loss, or press on in his walk of faith, trusting Christ, studying and reading His Word, and stepping in the light of His principles and truths.   The eagle calls him to choose freedom in the heights above, where Jesus waits to meet him at the cross.
